CeeV privacy policy

How drafts, order data and finished documents are processed in the current version of the app.

Draft before sales launch

This document records the product assumptions, but the seller details must be completed and it must be approved by the person responsible for legal compliance.

1. Data controller

Before sales launch, the controller's full details, contact address and data protection officer information, where applicable, must be added.

2. Browser draft

Builder data is saved locally in the browser and removed after 24 hours of inactivity or on request. A photo is used only for a one-off visual PDF render and is not included in ATS exports.

3. Content preparation

After order confirmation, only the limited professional information needed to prepare the CV is sent to the editing service. Contact details, the photo, portfolio, interests and referee details are not sent for content editing.

4. Order data and security

Order status, editing answers and the result are encrypted in the database for 24 hours after the document is prepared. We store a hash of the anonymous session token and an IP address HMAC as a pseudonymous risk signal; the raw IP address is neither stored nor logged.

5. Payments and providers

Payment details are entered on Stripe's website. CeeV stores only transaction identifiers, amount, currency, status and information needed to fulfil and account for the order. Vercel provides hosting, Supabase the database and OpenAI content editing.

6. Purposes and legal bases

Data is used to save the draft, deliver the ordered service, provide security, handle complaints and meet accounting duties. Legal bases and required accounting retention periods must be confirmed before sales launch.

7. Analytics and cookies

Version 1 uses no external analytics or marketing cookies. The only cookie is the necessary, secure anonymous order session cookie.

8. User rights

The final document must describe the rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and complaint to the competent authority, together with a channel for exercising those rights.
